Buying Fabric

Tokyo Train Ride by Sarah Watts for Cotton + Steel

I placed an order with Fat Quarter Shop last week. It was waiting for me when I made it home Sunday. Oh, Wow!  My taste ran all over, and I tried to rein it in, but the choices were SO TEMPTING!

One thing that makes me frustrated when buying fabric is trying to pick yardage from a little swatch. It's so different when you can see the repeat, and also when it's up against some of the others in the collection. So for today, I want to show you some bigger shots of the pretties. There is no photo manipulation besides cropping here. The colors show very true to life.

They're almost too beautiful to cut into.

An assortment of blues to turquoise to add to my backgrounds for the rounded Log Cabin quilts in process

Wee Wander by Sarah Jane for Michael Miller Fabrics--I've been dreaming of this for some time. The fabric texture is fabulous.

The Cottage Garden by The Quilted Fish for Riley Blake Designs

British Invasion by Riley Blake

Pam Kitty Morning for Lakehouse Dry Goods

Tula Pink's Moonshine

And last of all, Everyday Party by Emily Isabella for Birch Fabrics.

The sewing room is buzzing this whole week long so stop back and visit.
The Doxie Girls and I are sewin' up a storm.

I'm linking up with some new blog parties today.
Head on over and check them out.

Come on Doxie Girls.
Let's go give these blogs some sugar!

I literally drooled over these fabrics. They are so beautiful and the colours are just my taste! What a lucky girl you are to have them! I will watch this space for the projects you will come up with with these beauties!
Thank you for linking up with me at Monday Makers!

Ooohh, those fabrics! I especially love the blues/turquoise prints. I will definitely be checking back to see what goodies you are sewing - can't wait to see! Thanks so much for linking up to MCM!
