The handles are on, and it's ready for service.
No more travelling in blue Ikea bags for me.
Woohoo!
I think I should (almost) be ashamed to say I'm starting another quilt or two with so many projects underway, but in this crowd, that should bring no shame. I'm among friends. Right? I've pulled this stack of fabric from my stash. I want to play around with a modern version of the Log Cabin pattern.
The front cover of Spring/Summer Quilt Sampler showed this wonderfully scrappy modified Log Cabin, and I've been intrigued ever since. I made a deal with myself that I would finish up one baby quilt first as the shower is a week away. But, Gosh, isn't it fun when you see something you just 'Need to Make'?
Did you know that this is my 99th post, so the next will be...
a Grand 100!
It's a big deal for us here in the cold, Ohio winter
so I think we should make it a Party Day
by celebrating the fun we've had so far.

What do you think?
I've told the Doxie Girls, and they're asking for hats and horns.
Not sure that's a good idea for Doxies.
Instead, I thought we could have a Pet (Project) Show here on Pink Doxies. It's a Linky Party so everyone can show off their latest 'pet project'. I've been having a lot of fun joining in other blog's link parties recently. I've discovered dozens of inspiring quilters and sewists, and thought it was time to pay it back. First I started following them so I wouldn't miss any posts. Also, hosting a Linky Party is another way to spread the word about their blogs. My computer guru helped to design this new button, and I'm so grateful for her help.
So, this weekend, stop back, and link up your Pet Project from the past week. Any handiwork involving needles qualifies. Quilting, knitting, needlework, sewing, etc. (Yes, girls, even Finger Knitting counts. Kristin with GoodKnit Kisses does a nice tutorial over on YouTube. It's a great way to introduce kids to knitting.)
I can't guarantee punch or cake, but surely there will be Eye Candy with all the project pictures. And like parties, you'll want to schmooze and say hello to the other guests. We'll link to both blogs and Instagram. I haven't done this before, and beg for patience the first time around. I'll do my best to make it run smoothly. Until then...
Test box for our link button. Still a WIP too!
Please be dear, and excuse us while we work on the blog to get this party ready. Some links may not work today as we test out our new software.

See you all very soon!
Come on, Doxie Girls!
Let's get ready to Par-ty!
