Grocery Bag from Busy Hands Quilts
I love a good link party, and a newer one that I sincerely appreciate is over at Busy Hands Quilts. I am not someone who places the greatest value on a finish, and many link parties have focused on this one criteria. I would much rather surround myself with people who value the process over the end product, and that group is growing. When I saw Myra had a link party called, Finished or Not Friday, I let her know how much I personally appreciated it.
She has been sending out these sweet grocery bags she makes to the winner of her link up, and I was a lucky gal. It looks like the fabric was picked just for me, and if her quilts are anything like this bag, her sewing skills are impeccable.
Thank you so much, Myra.
Mine immediately took on a job as a way to keep my quilting supplies at the ready without losing a thing. The Craftsy pattern link is HERE.
The Eerie Nights Blog Hop continues. Today's bloggers, and your chance to win sweet prizes are a click away. My project is featured Friday, and I am finishing the binding today. I am impatiently waiting to show it off!
Come on, Doxie girls.
Let's go sew.
Congrats on your win! I follow Myra, too.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Julie! The bag is quick and fun to make and so easy to personalize.
ReplyDeleteMyra has finished several of my quilt tops and does a great job! She has some great original patterns too!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning that sweet little bag. I love those colors together. And thanks for the heads up on Myra's blog, I will have to check out her linky party on Friday. I love a good finish, but it sure is nice to be able to celebrate and savor the steps that lead up to one too. Sometimes I get lost in the seven layers of quilt building hell before I reach a finish :)
Lucky you! That is a cute bag - congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI loved it when Myra started the Finished or Not Friday link up. Because more often than not I have unfinished projects! It was such a great idea and I appreciate being able to talk about my WIPs rather than just the finish! That bag is completely adorable and how great to already have put it to good use!
ReplyDeleteWhat a very fun bag. I have problems with having a finish on a regular basis, Finished or Not looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, thanks!
