I'm In the Dog House & Daydream

While it doesn't look like loads of progress, a lot of things happened here yesterday. All the missing blocks were finished. I arranged and re-arranged. Border design was thought through, and fabrics picked from stash.
And on top of that, while darling daughter did her homeschool work, we entertained 3 more dogs that belong to my daughter and housemate. So six dogs roaming the room while I sewed! All were angels, and no one ate any spools of thread this time.

I was up to sew by 6 a.m., and you can see the strips have been sewn together along with the center 4 blocks. I think actually sewing blocks together is more nerve-wracking for me than anything.

Today's plan is to work on connecting the sections while I watch "10 Ways to Love Improvisational Quilting" by Malka Dubrawsky over on Creative Live . RSVP to watch live today and tomorrow12-7 EST. Rossie Hutchinson over on Fresh Modern Quilts posted this link, and I'm looking forward to a good class. Thanks go to her for a heads up.

Come on, Doxie girls.
It's just us today.
Let's go sew.
