The Churn Dash quilt is sweet, too. And yes, we have ALL been there and done that careless trimming point chopping thing. I haven't figured out how to make them stay. Does one plan for it when making the block or is it just plain luck? I still think your clock runs a lot slower than mine as you seem to get so much more done! Not so much for the patterns so far, but I like the visual simplicity of the long arm motifs used throughout. It’s one thing to see something on Pinterest or in a book, but to a good design on a quilt you would make personally is really helpful. I think this may be the second pattern I’ve used from the book now, and both have been straightforward and well written. It’s on my main shelf so a keep in my opinion.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02834496271292973632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5042289181469558257.post-23454709121260872282018-01-10T11:39:09.061-05:002018-01-10T11:39:09.061-05:00I remember when that book came out--I was interest...I remember when that book came out--I was interested but it never made it to my bookshelf. Dirty snowbanks, not so much. <br />Precision trimming is something I have invested some time in last year and now it is not so painful, but part of the process. Not that my work is perfectly matched. There are enough variables in my work that I just try and eliminate one of them and trim each step. If not, I can see it as 30 by 30 - my size for a preemie quilt.Angie in SoCalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01689281551068732574noreply@blogger.com
