Spin Drift:7

A Friday Sneak Peak!

I just can't stand it any longer. I'm not really good at secret projects, and have been dying to show you how this quilt is coming together. Dang! Isn't this a fun quilt!? The litmus test is when you put a section together on the wall, stand back, and giggle. I've laughed out loud many times, and admittedly photo bombed several friends with this marathon project. My studio has been my happy place!

This block may contain a pesky weed, but still reminds me spring is in my foreseeable future. Ahh...the garden is already waking up between icy rain and little snowfalls, and my pansies are cheerily blooming in a pot wintered over from last spring at my front walk. Several Lenten rose are budding among the snowdrops, and daylily shoots are green beneath their withered cover. Is there any wonder why we gardeners swoon over floral fabric? Even the weeds catch our eyes and hearts!

I'll have more to share tomorrow, and an invitation to join me at a local shop to share all the tips and techniques I've discovered on creating this quilt. The class is scheduled to start April 24, 2020, at Mercantile on Main in Coshocton, Ohio. I would love to meet you there!

See you back here tomorrow with more details.

Come on, Doxie girls.
