Christmas In My Heart Day #2 & Giveaway

Little Glitter Houses

Welcome to day 2 of the Christmas In My Heart Blog Hop. I hope you enjoyed the ideas from the other bloggers yesterday, and entered the drawing for a $25 gift certificate from The Fat Quarter Shop. There is another one today, and every day of the hop! Seems a little like Christmas in November to me.

The instructions are easy. Visit one or all of the blogs listed at the end of this post. Leave a sweet comment, and log into the Rafflecopter box there. (You can log in with just your email--no worries.) It will prompt you by asking if you've left a comment at each of the blogs for that day. Go to the blogs and do it, or visit them all ahead of logging into the Rafflecopter. I find that is the easiest way. Check that you've left a comment, fill in the space where it asks for your name, and click enter. It will take you through the list of all the blogs for the day, and ask you for each piece of information, so don't worry.

You get 6 chances to win a $25
gift certificate each day!

Be Merry!

Years ago we out an old home where I came across boxes of paper Christmas houses. Most were in poor shape, wonky, and fragile beyond repair, but I kept them anyhow. I loved the idea of fixing them up to use them again, but found I could make them easier than remaking. Little Glitter Houses is the most amazing site with pictures galore, and in depth instructions and patterns for making your own. I've had more fun constructing these with my girls, and every year we squeeze in time for one session of serious making.

See how sweet they look lined up across My Christmas Mantle! Check out the link for some of last year's pictures, and start saving your cereal boxes if you're in the mood to give it a try. It's not as hard as it looks, and they make very special gifts from the heart!

Today's bloggers showing you their wonderful ideas, and your chance to win a $25 gift certificate from The Fat Quarter Shop are...
