Wrens & Friends Quilt Finish & Taking Perfect Pictures

For every good picture you see here, there are at least a few other takes that don't make it. Like this one. I always think it's funny that things can appear picture perfect, but it never actually happens that way. The shot below was the last minute before dinner, and the rain was coming down behind me. I was begging for volunteers to hold the quilt for me.

The same story happened for the back shot. Cue the dog.

There's something about the look of a rolled up quilt that thrills me. I need to try it as soon as I have one done. No dogs here.

Just a quick little post to show the finish for Q2 On the Windy Side Finishes with Adrianne. The linky is open for those of you who are participating, so time to link up. See you there!

I, too, love rolled up quilt shots..also crumpled up quilt shots...okay, I'll 'fess up, my favourite shots are the photo bombing dogs or cats shots! Yay for a finish...I need to get mine done--how many hours left?!

I love it when the dogs invade as long as they aren't covered in much and I can get them in focus!

Congratulations on a finish! My quarter was not too successful but I did make a lot of things not on my Fal list.

Well done on the finish. The dog adds a personal touch! *Visiting as a member of the official 2015 Finish-Along cheerleading squad*

Our dogs always seem to wander into the photo, too! They won't sit still when I want to take a picture of them, but they will when they know I don't want them cast in the pic. Congrats on your finish - very pretty quilt.
